Dr. Veronica Marcoux completed a 4 year honours degree in microbiology and immunology before completing her medical degree and training in Internal medicine and adult respirology at the University of Saskatchewan. Following a clinical fellowship in ILD at the University of Calgary, she returned to Saskatoon in 2018 and started the Saskatchewan Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic. The Saskatchewan ILD clinic includes two trained ILD registered nurses, combined clinic with rheumatology for care of patients with connective tissues disease associated ILD, and a multidisciplinary discussion team that includes chest radiology and pathology. Our research program includes involvement in the Canadian Registry for Pulmonary Fibrosis (CARE-PF) and multiple active research projects involving the registry data, collaboration with other researchers at our University, and are an active clinical trial site.
