Lawerence Lewsey

After a career spanning 34 years in the rail industry and six years in Corrections, Lawrence faced a life-changing challenge with his 2017 diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis. In 2023, as the disease progressed, he endured a 15-day hospital stay. Despite this, Lawrence made a promise to himself: pulmonary fibrosis would not define him.

With determination, resilience, and the unwavering support of his wife, Lawrence continues to live life to the fullest. Whether golfing, doing yard work, traveling, or learning to play the guitar in retirement, he approaches each day with a spirit of perseverance and joy, often accompanied by his oxygen tank.
