Wendy Barrer

Wendy Barrer is an Account Executive from Nova Scotia, as well as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoys reading, learning, walking, and spending time with her family and friends. Wendy’s husband lives with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), and while she supports him with care and love, she humbly describes herself simply as a wife who cares deeply for her partner, knowing he would do the same for her. Wendy joined the pulmonary fibrosis registry to help ensure that those diagnosed with the disease have access to the most up-to-date information. She is a strong advocate for research, believing it is key to understanding the disease and improving outcomes for future generations. Passionate about making a difference, Wendy hopes to see a dedicated pulmonary fibrosis clinic established in Nova Scotia and remains committed to her ongoing involvement with the registry.
